Install MKWF Using Riivolution (Wii)

Prerequisite

To install MKWF on Wii, you need :

The latest riivolution patch, available in the releases page.
A cracked Wii
A disk of Mario Kart Wii
An SD Card

Installation

By using The Homebrew Channel, install the Riivolution channel.
Unzip the Riivolution patch for MKWF in the root of the SD card (you need to have two directory named MKWF and riivolution).
Boot the Riivolution channel on your Wii. If everything is correctly setup, you will see a panel to configure the mod.
You can now play the mod !

Install MKWF Using Iso Patcher (Dolphin)

Prerequisite

To install MKWF on Dolphin, you need :

A copy of Mario Kart Wii (format : ISO / WBFS / Directory)
MKWF-Install, available in the releases page.

Note that you should download the pre-downloaded version for the installer, as the installer will not need to download all the tracks himself. The normal version should be used only for auto-update where redownloading all tracks together is useless.

Installation

Unzip MKWF-Install and start MKWF-Install.exe
(optionnal) You can configure the mod with the menu (output format, track configuration, ...)
Select your Mario Kart Wii ROM with the "..." button.
Press "Do everything" to start the installation.
If no error occured, you should have a file called MKWFaraphel in the same directory as your game ROM !

Install MKWF Using Riivolution (Dolphin)

Prerequisite

To install MKWF on Dolphin using Riivolution, you need :

The latest riivolution patch, available in the releases page
A copy of Mario Kart Wii (format : ISO / WBFS / Directory)
Dolphin (version 5.0-15407 or newer)

Installation

In Dolphin, right-click on your original Mario Kart Wii game, then select "Start with riivolution patches..."
Use your parameter and then press start.
